Scrum artifacts each have a commitment. These are designed to enhance transparency and focus, as well as to reinforce empiricism and the Scrum values for the Scrum Team and their stakeholders.

The commitments are:

For the Product Backlog: The Product Goal
For the Sprint Backlog: The Sprint Goal
For the Product Increment: The Definition of Done
