Anu Smalley

Anu is the Co-Founder of Team KatAnu and President/Founder of Capala Consulting Group, LLC, where she specializes in executive coaching, leadership development, and large-scale agile transformations. With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Anu brings a unique blend of technical expertise and human-centered leadership.

She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Osmania University, India, and an MBA from Bowling Green State University, Ohio. As a Certified Scrum Trainer® and seasoned Enterprise Agile Coach, Anu delivers agile education, coaching, and consulting across a wide range of organizations nationwide.

Her transformation work has made a lasting impact at major companies like Capital One, where she helped implement agile at scale. She has built internal Agile Coaching Centers of Excellence and designed coaching programs that empower current and future leaders. Anu is also highly skilled in large group facilitation and leadership mentoring.

A frequent speaker at conferences and meetups, Anu is deeply engaged in growing the agile community. She contributes to the field through volunteering with the Scrum Alliance and supporting global leadership and agility events. Her passion lies in helping individuals and teams unlock their full potential—professionally and personally.
